Invasive cribriform carcinoma of the breast is a rare type of breast cancer with a favourable prognosis.[1]

General
Microscopic
Features:[4]
- Cribriform (or sieve-like) architecture.
- Desmoplastic stroma.
- +/-Tubular component.
Notes:
- Cribriform component should be >90% of the tumour.[4]
- Low or intermediate Nottingham grade.
DDx:
- Cribriform DCIS.
- Tubular carcinoma of the breast.
- Invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast with cribriform component.
- Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast.
