MOC31 is an immunostain. The antibody is directed against the epithelial cell adhesion molecule (Ep-CAM, TACSTD1).[1]
Negative
- Hepatocellular carcinoma.[2]
- Malignant epithelioid mesothelioma - usually negative.[3]
Positive
- Cholangiocarcinoma.[2]
- Liver metastases.[2]
- Lung adenocarcinoma.[3]
- Invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast.[1]
- Invasive lobular carcinoma.[1]
