Differential diagnosis
Main possibilities:[1]
- Chronic sialadenitis.
- Focal lymphocytic sialadenitis.
- Indeterminate.
- Insufficient for diagnosis.
- Minor salivary gland within normal limits.

- Salivary gland tumours - see salivary gland.
- Lymphoma - usually MALT lymphoma.
