Adenoid cystic/basal cell carcinoma of the prostate, abbreviated ACBCC, is a rare from of prostate cancer that resembles adenoid cystic carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma.

It is also known as adenoid cystic carcinoma of the prostate.[1]


  • Rare.
  • Typically indolent - may be aggressive.[2]






  • HER2/neu +ve (strong).[4]
  • CK34betaE12 +ve (AdCC component).[1]
  • BCL2 +ve.[3]
  • Ki-67 >20%.[3]
