Prevalence very rare

Glycogen-rich clear cell carcinoma of the breast is rare type of invasive breast cancer.

It may be abbreviated GRCC.

General

Microscopic

Features:

  • Groups of cells with abundant clear cytoplasm - need to comprise 90% of the tumour.[2]
    • Various architectural arrangements: cords, trabeculae, clusters, cribriform.
    • Minimal nuclear pleomorphism.
