Channelopathies are a group of disease characterized by defects in ion channels.

In the context of forensic pathology, these often have a negative autopsy.

Cardiac channelopathies

  • Long QT syndrome.
  • Brugada syndrome.
  • Short QT syndrome.
  • Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT).
