Sex cord tumour with annular tubules, abbreviated SCTAT, is an uncommon sex cord tumour.

It is not sex cord tumour with angulated tubules.

General

  • Associated with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome.[1]
    • Large tumours more likely sporadic.
    • Small tumours more likely Peutz-Jeghers syndrome and incidental.
  • Usually benign.
    • Malignant cases reported.[2]

Microscopic

Features:

  • Well-circumscribed nests of cells with nuclei at the periphery.
  • Annular tubules (ring-shaped tubules) with dense hyaline material.
