General
Gross
- Raised lesion with a central depression - somewhat similar to keratoacanthoma.
- Classcially upper lip.[2]

- Cystic cavity with:
- Keratineous material.
- Usually extends from surface to deep cutis - like a hair shaft.
- Lining consists of a thickened squamous epithelium.
