Cytomegalovirus colitis is a type of colitis.

General

  • Uncommon.
  • Immunosuppressed population at risk, e.g. transplant recipients, individuals with HIV.
  • Typically self-limited in immunocompetent patients.[1]

  • Enlarged nucleus - classically in endothelial cells.
