MOC31 is an immunostain.
It is useful for differentiating hepatocellular carcinoma from cholangiocarcinoma and liver metastases.[1]
Negative
- Hepatocellular carcinoma.[1]
- Malignant epithelioid mesothelioma - usually negative.[2]
Positive
- Cholangiocarcinoma.[1]
- Liver metastases.[1]
- Lung adenocarcinoma.[2]
- Invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast.[3]
- Invasive lobular carcinoma.[3]
