==Prognosis==
*Excellent (10-year OS: 90%)
*In thalamic/chiasmatic region not so good (incomplete resection, often [[Pilomyxoid astrocytoma]]).
*Primary treatment: surgery. Incomplete resection: RT has to be considered.
