Snare tip soft coagulation

Snare tip soft coagulation, abbreviated STSC, is a low voltage limited coagulation used for hemostasis in the endoscopic resection of intestinal polyps.^[1]

Traditional cautery uses higher voltages and may unnecessarily damage tissue.^[1]
