Polymorphous light eruption

Polymorphous light eruption, abbreviated PLE or PMLE, is an inflammatory skin disorder characterized by perivascular inflammation.

General

  • Common, chronic and idiopathic.[1]
  • Usually women.[1]
  • Typically diagnosed in late 30s.[2]

Features:

  • Perivascular inflammation.
