Keratoconus is a pathology of the cornea characterized by thinning and bulging.[1]

- Relatively common.
Microscopic
Features:
Notes:
- Anterior limiting lamina = layer below the basement membrane.[3]
- Normally has a uniform thickenss.

The sections show a cornea with thinning and an irregular anterior limiting lamina.
