- Also known as neuroenteric or endodermal cyst.
- Cervical and thoracic segments of the spine are most often affected.
- intraspinal, extramedullary.
- 0.7-1.3% of spinal axis lesions[2]
- may be associated with bone malformations.
Histology
- simple columnar or cuboidal ciliated and nonciliated goblet cells
- basement membrane or collagenous tissue
- usually surrounding a central cystic cavity

- CK+ve
- CEA+ve
- EMA+ve
- CK7+/-ve
