The spleen is a forgotten organ.

Splenic enlargement

Hyaloserositis

  • Properly referred to as hyaloserositis of the spleen.
  • Capsule of the spleen is white - resembles sugar-coating; also known as sugar-coated spleen.[3]
  • Importance: none - benign.
