Noninvasive follicular thyroid neoplasm with papillary like-nuclear features is a proposed terminology for encapsulated thyroid tumours. It is abbreviated NIFTP and pronounced nift-P.

Encapsulated thyroid tumours with papillary-like features have a good prognosis, and labelling them as cancer is probably not unwarranted.[1]
