Micropapillary urothelial carcinoma

Micropapillary urothelial carcinoma is an aggressive variant of urothelial carcinoma.[1]

Microscopic

Features:[1]

  • Micropapillae.
    • Quantity of micropapillary (percentage) is variable.[2]
  • Conventional urothelial carcinoma (typical).

DDx:

  • Metastasis (breast, ovary, lung, pancreas, salivary gland).
