It should not be confused with paraganglioma, which were once called glomus tumour.

  • No significant nuclear atypia.

  • Angiosarcoma - has nuclear atypia.
  • Dermatofibroma - spindle cell lesion.
  • Capillary hemangioma - no epithelioid cells, more blood vessels.
