Sinusitis
Sinusitis is a thing that occasionally comes to the pathologist. This article deals with nonspecific sinusitis, i.e. sinusitis without an identifiable cause.
General
- Clinical diagnosis.
- Benign.
- Very common in general.[1]
Microscopic
Features:
- Sinonasal mucosa with chronic inflammation.
- Ciliated epithelium.
- +/-Squamous epithelium.
- Subepithelial glands.
- +/-Bone.
