*Stippled chromatin.

*Typically small cells ~2x RBC diameter.

*Necrosis.

*There should be no nucleolus.

*Metastatic [[small cell carcinoma]].

*[[Atypical carcinoid]].
*Other [[small round blue cell tumours]].
*Large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC).
