H3F3A (K27M), often abbreviated K27M or H3.3 K27M is a mutation-specific antibody detecting the K27M mutation in tumor nuclei.[1]

Positive staining

  • Nuclear
    • Approx 30% of pediatric glioma.
    • Approx 80% of diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG).

Note:

  • The antibody does not detect other H3F3A mutations (ie. G34V or G34R).

Normal tissues

  • Absent
