Neuroendocrine markers are immunostains that suggest neuroendocrine differentiation.

Common markers

Chromogranin A.
- Considered the most specific neuroendocrine stain.^[1]
Synaptophysin +ve.
CD56.
- Less specific than chromogranin A and synaptophysin.

Less common markers

NSE.
CD57.
PGP9.5.
