Sarcomatoid prostate carcinoma is a rare subtype of prostatic carcinoma, that may be confused with a sarcoma.

Microscopic
Features:[1]
- Biphasic tumour:
- Spindle cells (sarcomatous component).
- May include components of: osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma and/or rhabdomyosarcoma.
- Glandular component (like conventional prostate carcinoma).
- Spindle cells (sarcomatous component).
IHC
Features - typical:[1]
- PSA +ve.
- Keratin +ve.
