Interstitial cystitis is a benign painful pathology of the urothelium.
It is also known as painful bladder syndrome.[1][2]

- Chronic cystitis, culture negative.
Epidemiology:[2]
- Women > men.
Symptoms:[2]
- Urgency.
- Frequency.
- Pain.
Treatment:
Gross
- +/-Ulceration.
Microscopic

- +/-Ulceration (uncommon).

- Diagnosis requires clinical correlation.
