Clinical triad[1]
- Retinal haemorrhage.
- Subdural haemorrhage (SDH).
- Acute encephalopathy.
- Some say brain swelling.[2]
Pathologic triad
- Subdural haemorrhage (SDH).
- Retrobullbar nerve sheath hemorrhage (pathologic correlate to retinal hemorrhage).
- ???
Other features
Subcortical slit-like haemorrhages:[3][4]
- Classically frontal lobe.
- Shear force.
- Associated with shaken baby.
