- Relatively common.
- Seen in a number of contexts.
Gross
- Looks like it doesn't belong, e.g. food.
- Obvious foreign bodies, e.g. a dildo removed surgically from body oriface, are gross only diagnoses.
Microscopic
Features:
- Honeycomb-like or cartilage-like or muscle-like without nuclei.
DDx:
- Fecal material - if in colon/rectum.
- Necrotic material.
