Necrotizing_fasciitis, also known as flesh-eating disease, is an uncommon mon-malignant skin disease with a high mortality.
It should not to be confused with nodular fasciitis.
General
- High mortality.
- May be diagnosed at frozen section.[1]
- Classically associated with Group A streptococcus.
Treatment:
- Operative debridement.
