It is typically positive in TSC1/TSC2/MTOR mutated renal cell carcinomas.[1]
Positive
- Angiomyolipoma.
- TFE3-rearranged renal cell carcinoma.
- TFEB-rearranged renal cell carcinoma.
- Low-grade oncocytic tumour (LOT).
- PEComa.
- Renal cell carcinoma with fibromyomatous stroma.
Others:
Negative
- Clear cell renal cell carcinoma.
- Papillary renal cell carcinoma.
- Chromophobe renal cell carcinoma.
- Clear cell papillary renal cell tumour.
