Neuroendocrine markers are immunostains that suggest neuroendocrine differentiation.
Common markers
- Chromogranin A.
- Considered the most specific neuroendocrine stain.[1]
- Synaptophysin +ve.
- CD56.
- Less specific than chromogranin A and synaptophysin.
Less common markers
- NSE.
- CD57.
- PGP9.5.
