Epididymal cyst a benign pathology of the epididymis.

General

  • Uncommon pathology specimen.
  • Common finding on ultrasound ~15% in one pediatric population.[1]
  • Not associated with infertility.[2]

Microscopic

Features:

  • Cyst lined by a pseudostratified epithelium with cilia.
