Acquired digital fibrokeratoma is a rare benign skin tumour.[1]
General
- May be due to trauma.[2]
Gross
- Well circumscribed nodule.
Microscopic
Features:[2]
- Acanthotic epidermis.
- Fibrotic dermis with "vertically oriented" collagen bundles.
- "Vertically oriented": deep to superficial (as opposed to along the surface of the skin).
DDx:
- Angiofibroma.
- Verruca vulgaris - has koilocytes.
