B. Ascending Colon, Biopsy: - Colonic mucosa with low-grade dysplasia in a background of unremarkable appearing colonic mucosa, see comment. Comment: The history of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is noted. The tissue in Part B was submitted as a biopsy. It may represent a sporadic adenoma or IBD associated dysplasia. Prior pathology suggests the disease extent previously was more proximal than in this biopsy. Clinical correlation is required.
