This article covers traumatic brain injury in infants that suspected to be due to abuse, AKA shaken baby syndrome and shaken-impact syndrome.
Clinical triad: -Retinal haemorrhage. -SDH. -Brain swelling.
Pathologic triad: -SDH. -Retinal haemorrhage. -Retro-orbital haemorrhage. (???)
Subcortical slit-like haemorrhages:[1] - Classically frontal lobe. - Shear force. - Associated with shaken baby.
