Rhabdoid refers to looks like muscle.
Microscopic
Features:
- Cells with eosinophilic granular cytoplasm and an eccentric nucleus.
DDx:
- Renal cell carcinoma with rhabdoid change.[1]
- Atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumour.
- Extrarenal malignant rhabdoid tumour.
- Renal rhabdoid tumour.
- Rhabdomyosarcoma.
- Rhabdoid carcinoma of gastrointestinal tract.[2]
