Pathology and food is strange combination.

Gross pathology

  • Strawberry gallbladder = cholesterolosis of gallbladder.
  • Chocolate cyst = endometriosis.[1]
  • Sugar-coated spleen = hyaloserositis of the spleen.
  • Apple core lesions = circumferenial gastrointestinal tumour (usually sigmoid colon).
  • Nutmeg liver = congested liver.
