Probably can be considered a localized variant of PVNS.

Localized nodular synovitis, abbreviated LNS, is an uncommon pathology of the joint closely related to diffuse tenosynovial giant-cell tumour (also known as pigmented villonodular synovitis).[1]

  • Location: fat pad inferior to patella.[3]
