Eosinophilic cholecystitis is a rare type of cholecystitis.

General

Clinical associations:[1][3]

  • Eosinophilic cholangitis.
  • Hypereosinophilic syndromes (HES).
  • Parasitic infestations.

Microscopic

Features:

  • Gallbladder wall with inflammtory infiltrate that is >90% eosinophils.[1][3]
