Appearance:
- Membrane bound, sausage-like shape.

- Round membrane bound, granular core.
- Size: 100-400 nm.

Birbeck granules
- Seen in Langerhans cell histiocytosis.
Appearance:
- Electron dense, cytoplasmic tennis racket-like body.
