Atypical intraductal proliferation, abbreviated AIP, is a waffle diagnosis in prostate pathology for lesions that are between high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (HGPIN) and intraductal carcinoma of prostate.[1]

Features:
- Atypical prostatic glands - not fulfilling criteria for intraductal carcinoma of the prostate.
- +/-Cribriform.
