Human papillomavirus-related carcinoma with adenoid cystic-like features, abbreviated HPV-related carcinoma with AdCC-like features.

General

  • Very rare diagnosis - recently described.[1]

Microscopic

Features:

  • Adenoid cystic carcinoma-like morphology with:
    • Squamous dysplasia of surface epithelium
    • Squamous dfferentiation within tumour

Notes:

  • Perineural invasion rare.
  • Bony invasion rare.

DDx:

IHC

  • p16 +ve.
