Tubular adenoma of the urinary tract is a very rare lesion of the urinary tract that looks like a tubular adenoma of the gastrointestinal tract.

• Very rare.

Microscopic

Features:

• Glands with pseudostratified hyperchromatic nuclei without maturation to the surface.

DDx:

• In situ adenocarcinoma of the urinary bladder.
• Adenocarcinoma of the urinary bladder.
• Metastatic adenocarcinoma, e.g. colorectal adenocarcinoma.

IHC

Features:

• CK20 +ve.
• CDX2 +ve.
• CK7 -ve.
• GATA3 -ve.
