Large cell lymphomas are a group of lymphomas that are characterized by large cells.

Definition

The definition of "large" is dependent on the context. In the context of lymphomas, "large" is 15-25 micrometres;[citation needed] this is approximately twice the size of a resting lymphocyte.

The cells in small cell lymphomas are approximately 8-12 micrometres; they are half the size of those in large cell lymphomas.
