Henoch–Schönlein purpura

Henoch-Schönlein purpura, abbreviated HSP, a disease that afflicts children.

Pathologically, it can be thought of as the combination of:

  1. IgA nephropathy.
  2. Leukocytoclastic vasculitis.[1]

Clinical features

Mnemonic NAPA:[2]

  • Nephritis.
  • Arthralgia/arthritis.
  • Palpable purpura.
  • Abdominal pain.
