Cowden syndrome

Cowden syndrome, also known as Cowden disease, is constellation of findings due to a PTEN gene mutation.

Molecular

  • PTEN mutation.
  • Autosomal dominant inheritance.[1]

  • The PTEN gene is located on chromosome ten.

  • Hamartomatous polyp - features non-specific. (???)
