Tonsil

The tonsil is a head and neck ditzel.

It is often removed for:

• Tonsillitis.

The other pathologies:

• Squamous dysplasia of the head and neck.
• Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma - esp. MALT lymphoma.
• HPV-associated head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
• Squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.
• Nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
