Distal urethral cancers of the penis are very rare cancers.[1]
The main diagnostic considerations are:
- Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma.[1]
- Malignant melanoma.[2]
- Urothelial carcinoma.[3]
IHC
Urothelial carcinoma versus squamous cell carcinoma:[3]
- GATA-3 +ve in urothelial carcinoma.
- GATA-3 -ve in squamous cell carcinoma.
