The trachea connects the pharynx and largynx to lungs.

  • Very uncommon ~ 1 in 1,000,000 persons/year.[1]

Most common primary tumours:[2]

Note:

  • Most common tracheal cancer is direct extension from other tumours in the neck, e.g. thyroid.[1]
