Skin Lesion, Right Leg, Punch Biopsy: - Mild perivascular lymphocyte predominant inflammation, see comment. - NEGATIVE for apparent eosinophils. - NEGATIVE for carcinoma. Comment: The differential diagnosis includes lupus, pseudolymphoma, lymphocytic infiltrate of Jessner, polymorphous light eruption, and Lyme disease. Lymphoma is not considered likely but cannot be excluded. Correlation with the clinical findings and history is required. Possible additional sampling of the lesion seen clinically should be considered within the clinical context.
