Schaumann bodies

In pathology, Schaumann bodies are calcium and protein inclusions inside of Langhans giant cells as part of a granuloma.

  • Sarcoidosis,
  • Hypersensitivity pneumonitis
  • Tuberculosis (uncommon)
  • Berylliosis
  • Crohn's disease (uncommon)
